Landon had his 2 year well-child visit on January 4 (yes, I am WAY behind in my blogging) - he is healthy! He was such a good sport during his entire appointment - no crying, no fussing, just happy as a clam! He barely shed a tear for his shot even! The only slight concern the doctor had (which as you know, I had too) was his verbal skills are a little delayed. The doctor said that he isn't
really concerned, its most likely just "2nd child syndrome" (where the older child talks for the younger one so much the younger one doesn't feel the need to talk himself), but he did say that he is a little more sensitive to any speech delays because his own son had a significant one. To be sure, he put in a referral for Landon to have a Speech Evaluation done. We have our appointment set for January 23rd and will report back then!
But regardless of his small speech delay, he is a very healthy and happy 2 year old and there is NOTHING we'd change about him!
