Gymnastics

So I had signed both boys up for gymnastics at a place I found in Auburn - Landon's class tonight ended up being just a "trial" as I decided not to fully sign him up, he was just too young (even though the class is for 1-3 year olds) and just isn't steady enough on his feet yet.  We did end up signing Zane up though, so don't worry - we won't be getting a whole week with no extra curricular activities!  I must say, I enjoy watching Zane play soccer much more than gymnastics, but its what he wanted to do this time, so its fine by me!

Zane was in charge of taking pictures during Landon's class since I had to be helping Landon - he did a really good job!

And here's gymnast Zane!!

Probably a "had to be there" moment, but it was pretty funny...the coach gave all of the kids stamps after their class and she put one on each of Landon's legs...he sat for minutes touching them and trying to figure out what the heck they were and why they wouldn't come off!!

Groupon Fun

We absolutely love Groupon in this house!  We've bought and used many of them and have enjoyed them all!  The last one we bought (and started on redeeming this weekend) was 3 outdoor play sessions at Rainbow Play Systems.  If you've ever driven south on 167 through Auburn you've definitely seen the sign and the play structures for this place.

We had no idea you could actually go and play on all of their play systems!  That is...until we saw the Groupon for it!  Since the weather was so beautiful on Saturday we decided to go and check the place out!  The kids had a blast (and so did Josh and I) - we pretty much had the place to ourselves, there were maybe 3 other kids there and they left shortly after we got there - it was awesome!  We were talking to the guy who worked there and he said that the next time we come back they'll have a ton more structures built, we can't wait!!

Prepare yourself for picture overload here :)

Fashion

The boys were in a little Spring Kids Fashion Show for Nordstrom this last Saturday - it was a neat experience, but probably not one we'll do again!  The boys did really well, Zane has no problem going out by himself which was a little surprising to me.  Landon, is just a few steps away from being able to walk all alone down the run-way, so I had to accompany him (not something I was really wanting to do).  They did look adorable and for that alone it was worth it!  These pictures aren't very good - I forgot to bring the other lense, so Josh was only able to zoom in so far, but you can get the idea!

First up...Zane Alexander
"Zane loves to play soccer"
"Zane wants to be a Policeman when he grows up because he wasn't to pull people over"

Next up...Landon Alexander
"Landon loves to rearrange the cupboards and drawers in the kitchen even when his mommy tells him no"
"Landon isn't quite sure of what he wants to be when he grows up yet, for now
he enjoys playing with Hotwheels"

Last soccer...for now...

Zane had his last soccer session last Thursday - he has asked to do gymnastics next, so he AND Landon will be starting gymnastics this Thursday!  He has asked to go back to soccer afterwards though (yay!), so he'll be back for the next series.  Papa was able to join us for his last session - Zane couldn't wait to show him all of his moves!  I think Papa enjoyed himself as well!

I wanted to get a picture of Zane all decked out in his soccer gear before we
left - I couldn't pick a favorite, so you get to see my top 2 favorites!

I wanted to get one sweet mother-son picture before he started - this is what I got...

And here he is showing Papa all of his sweet moves!!

Not quite sure what this moves is...

And just proof that Papa and Landon were there too...

Photography by Zane Alexander

Zane LOVES to use my camera anytime I let him!  Last night while we were chillin' in his bedroom he asked to use it, I of course said yes...here is what he choses to take pictures of :)
