American Ninja Warrior - Birthday Party

Zane asked for an American Ninja Warrior birthday party, so that's what he got!  Thankfully we live very close to a great parkour gym that is also owned and operated by an American Ninja Warrior native - Adam Truesdell!  Who better to show you how to do parkour than by an American Ninja Warrior himself!!

This party was so much fun for all of the kids!  It didn't matter their athletic ability, they all were able to participate in every part of the course and were helped along if needed to make sure all completed with smiles on their faces!

Adam showing them how it's done!

Everyone left with smiles on their faces - hope that means they all had a good time!

Reptile Man {Mason turns Six}

Our good buddy Mason turned 6 today and had one of the raddest birthday parties I've ever been to! The Reptile Man came to do a little show!  I have heard lots about this amazing man, but have never seen him or his animals, so I was excited!  It was awesome!  Every single kid was in awe and had a great time.  I loved how hands on it was!  Amazingly enough, neither of my kids were scared of any of the reptiles...this is saying a lot for Zane!  He did great!

Birthday Party

Landon was invited to his first preschool friend birthday party last Friday!  He.was.so.excited!! Everyday, he would ask me how many more days it was.  As soon as I picked him up on Friday, he reminded me that we were headed to Trae's party that night!

I took a few pictures - but it is always hard to capture decent photos in bouncy house places - always so dark and the kids are running like mad.  Also, I swear not just Zane and Landon were at the party - they are just the only ones I could manage getting photos of!  I did take a picture of the cake Trae's grandma made him, it's pretty cool.  Apparently she used to be a professional cake decorator and taught classes...which I could've taken one!

That is Trae right behind Landon!

4th Birthday Party

Landon's long awaited birthday party finally happened today!!  I know it seems silly to post-pone a birthday party 2 weeks after a birthday...but with Christmas, I just need time to decompress and time to plan the birthday!  Last year, I didn't post-pone the party and it drove me crazy all year that Landon's party got the shaft compared to Zane's, so I vowed to never do that again!  I know Landon doesn't care, but I do - pictures prove their parties were so different and I don't want that ever to come back to me later!  "Mom, you always threw such great parties for Zane, but mine were just colored plates and balloons"!  I don't have the money for the therapy, so I'll just take the time to put the effort into his parties too!

This is the first year that he invited friends from outside of our group of friends...he invited quite a few kids from preschool!  He was SO excited for them to come to his party!  This was also the first birthday party the Y had a bouncy house/slide for and he was very excited to be the first party to use it!  I think the kids broke it in well!

On to his Construction themed party!

I love this picture of Landon seeing his cake and the set up for the first time!

I can't let the kids have all of the fun!  Plus Jack needed someone to take him through!

Getting by with a little help from his friend!

Love my little Jack and also love the phase of purposely looking away from the camera!

Pinata time!

Mayhem!
