Wow, 3 mos old already, I can't believe it. You have changed so much over the last month and for the most part they were all good changes! You started to revert a little on your sleeping over the last month and then the other night I decided to try something new and put you to bed without swaddling you. You were never a fan of being swaddled, but everyone told me you'd sleep better swaddled...they were wrong! Once I stopped swaddling you, you started sleeping all night...granted, you have a hiccup of a night here and there, but for the most part we are all sleeping better! I can't say I blame you, I don't think I'd enjoy being wrapped up like a burrito and not able to have my arms and hands free.
Speaking of hands...you have found yours! You love, love, love to suck on your fist. Just the other day you started to actually look at your hands and it cracks me up how you watch it move around and have this look of awe on your face!
You are becoming much more of a happier baby and we are just thrilled about it! Those first few months were rough on us all, but it looks like you just might be turning a corner after all! I remember your brother turning a corner around 3 mos and I was hopeful you would too, but I had my doubts too! I love to see your smile and hear you "talk"' when anyone looks at you or even if you are by yourself on your play mat. You get so excited, kicking your feet and jabbering away...I can't help but stop whatever it is I'm doing and listen to you and smile back at you!
Another trick you have learned over the last month is how to blow bubbles with your spit! Zane thinks its the funniest thing when you have a lip full of bubbles!
The only negative change I think you've made this month is deciding that you do not like to be in the car! This is just perfect timing now that I've gone back to work and have a nice 40 minute commute each way with you in the car (although you are this way even if we are on a 5 minute drive somewhere)!! Thankfully you tire yourself out pretty quick from crying and fall asleep...that is until I hit a red light or are stuck in traffic...instantly you wake up and remind me you don't like being in the car!
I am amazed at how much you have grown over the last month and how many little and big changes you have made. You are such a cute little boy and I am so glad you are ours, you really do complete this family little man!
