Tulips.

Today we took both Zane and I's first trip to the tulip fields in Mt. Vernon! I have lived in Washington pretty much my whole life and I'd never been! Because of the mild winter we had this year the flowers all bloomed very early making it difficult to find any fields with flowers still there to see this weekend. After driving around for awhile we finally found a couple fields that had not been tilled over yet! To say these fields were beautiful would be an understatement...so pretty beyond words.

I also must note in this post that Zane was an absolute trooper in the car both ways! We had no potty accidents and he was in a steller mood even without a nap. I did learn that he will not go potty in a out-house and I must say I don't blame him one bit, it was disgusting! Anyway, he did so well and he's making me feel a little better about our long car drives coming up for our summer vacations!
