The kids did pretty well, but at times they were in rare form:
This was such a sad evening and I know it was more sad because we were mourning a child and children aren't supposed to die. The celebration was done very well and was a great tribute to little Hans - just wish I could've met him in person.
Although not the reason we wanted to see our favorite relatives from Arizona, it was a nice treat - maybe a silver lining to a very dark cloud?
After the celebration a handful of people played a couple games of kickball - since as Hans's mom said "that's what 9 year old boys should be doing" - Zane liked that the most ;)
Of course the piles of leaves were a must-do as well...
