Here he is showing off an award he received for "rotating his injection site"...you'll see a picture of where he rotated it to in the next post (couldn't get a good pic the day of). Only 3 kids out of his group received an award, it was pretty cool to him (and us).
After the morning gathering it was off to the bouncy house again - here Zane and Zach are playing basketball!
Zane and Zach have met numerous times before, but they really hit it off at camp last week. Here they are making tie-dye shirts! It was pretty cute listening to them tell each other the right way to do it.
And here is why the day was so adventurous - he was stung by a bee TWICE! I had just gone to the bathroom and when I came out and started to head for the door to go outside where the kids were playing, Zane came busting through the door hopping on one leg just SCREAMING. I kept asking him what was wrong and he couldn't even talk he was crying/screaming so hard. Another counselor came in behind him and said she "thought" he may have gotten stung by a bee. Apparently they were playing tag and he was just standing there and all of a sudden started to scream - but no one saw what happened. I got him calmed down and sure enough, saw two stings on his leg. Not 2 mins after getting him calmed down two more kids came running in screaming and they too had been stung. Another counselor found the hive and alerted folks who had it taken care of before camp the next day! Here is our little man icing it up!
