While Josh had to work today, Zane and I headed down to Kent for the Cornucopia Days festivities! It was a lot of fun, looking (and even buying) some of the vendors' goodies. I really wish I knew the sex of this baby already, saw so many cute baby things, but alas, I could not buy...bank account is probably happy with that! Anyway, after looking at all of the arts and crafts and tasting all of the free samples, we headed over to the fountain. I didn't even think about bringing Zane's suit (oops), so he just went and played with his clothes on and had a ball!!!
Christina & Brooklyn came over for a little impromptu BBQ tonight (as well as my friend Krissy) and lucky for Zane, Brooklyn brought her bouncy house! They had so much fun out their bouncing and playing swords and my awesome husband supervised (and played photographer) the two little ones, so us ladies could chat and catch up...thanks babe!
The look on Brooklyn's face in this picture just cracks me up!
Josh's parents brought up Zane's little pool when they came to watch him on Wednesday, what a special treat! I heard he had a lot of fun and I can't blame him since it was about 90 degrees! I sure wish I could've played hooky from work and swam in the pool!!
As a reward for Zane for eating all of his dinner tonight and a reward for his parents for being such cool parents, we headed to the park after dinner! I cannot express how much I love the sunshine and long summer nights! A special treat for this park trip was the ice cream truck (van) was there, yahoo! Lucky for Josh and I, Zane isn't a huge fan of things that are cold, so it was more for us! The best part of the whole outing was Zane didn't even cry or get upset when we told him it was time to go...ahh, love that!
After grocery shopping today, Zane and I stopped by our friend's Christina & Brooklyn's house for a quick visit! Christina was setting up Brooklyn's bouncy house, so away the kids went bouncing their little hearts out! After bouncing for awhile, the kids took a break for some freshly picked strawberries; I lost count of how many they each ate!! I love summer and am so happy that the sun is starting to show its face!!
While daddy went kayaking today, Zane and I headed out to our friends' the Hall's for a playdate! Zane loves to play with Tate and Kennedi and I love to catch up with my friend Brenda, so it makes for a great time for all of us! The kids always have so much fun together and today was no different...as soon as we got there the kids went for a long drive in the power-wheels and Brenda and I tried to keep up! After the drive around the neighborhood we had lunch and the kids got to make ice cream, so fun! From what I hear the Hall kids are fast asleep and I know that Zane is, so I guess all kids played hard!
