Reptile Man {Mason turns Six}

Our good buddy Mason turned 6 today and had one of the raddest birthday parties I've ever been to! The Reptile Man came to do a little show!  I have heard lots about this amazing man, but have never seen him or his animals, so I was excited!  It was awesome!  Every single kid was in awe and had a great time.  I loved how hands on it was!  Amazingly enough, neither of my kids were scared of any of the reptiles...this is saying a lot for Zane!  He did great!

Cousin Time

My brother and his wife asked us a few months ago if we'd watch baby Michael for the night so they could go have fun at a wedding...of course we said yes!  We don't see this little guy nearly enough! The boys could not wait for this day to come - they have been asking me for weeks when it was! Well, yesterday was finally the day and it was exactly all they had hoped it would be!

Since we don't see Michael too often, I was a little nervous on how he would be around us - it took him awhile to warm up, but when he finally did - he had a great time!  The boys were dotting on him left and right - he had it made!

We had a little park time, sprinkler time and ipad time - what more could you ask for? :)  He didn't have one poopy diaper , didn't cry once and slept 12 straight hours - so I'd say that I had all I could ask for too :)

Lake Washington

We were so incredibly lucky this past Friday to be invited to a friend of a friends' house right on Lake Washington.  Even more lucky that I had already planned to be off at noon that day to play in the sunshine with the boys and Josh - so it worked out perfectly!  This house was gorgeous and we couldn't have asked for better weather or company.  We all had a great time and hope to be invited back again someday :)

Finally a 1st place

Yes it is was only Zane's 2nd official track meet, but he was hell bent on getting a 1st place ribbon. It finally happened and he was stoked! But he didn't do it alone...the 1st place was for their 4x100 relay race. All 4 kiddos did great and they've determined that they will all 4 be a team for the rest of the meets! Cute!

His other ribbons were for:

Long Jump - 2nd place (jumped over 8ft)

100 meter - 4th place

50 meter - 2nd place

Oh and it was crazy hot...over 90 degrees and zero shade!

Grossology

Josh took the boys to the Pacific Science Center today to check out their Grossology exhibit they have going on right now.  This exhibit is right up the boys' alley...all about farts, burps, boogers and more!  I didn't get much information out of them tonight when I tried to pry - they probably didn't want to offend me with all the new stuff they learned :)  Thankfully, I have an awesome husband who know how important photos are to me!

Father's Day {2015}

Happy Father's Day Josh!  We love you to pieces!  I'm so happy to do this thing calling "parenting" together; no one else I'd rather do it with!
