My Boys

A wonderful photographer by the name of Justine Shelton came to our house on Wednesday to take newborn photos of Landon and a few family pics and pics of the boys together! Today I was lucky enough to receive an email with a few sneak peaks and so far what I see, I LOVE! I am so excited to see the rest of the photos she took! Zane and Landon did a wonderful job cooperating. I really do think I have the cutest boys in the world (every mom thinks that, I know)!

A Project

Last night Zane was pretty bored so Josh decided to take him to Lowes to find a "project" for the 2 of them to do. Zane came home with a pirate ship to build and he couldn't wait to get started on it! Last night they spent time painting it any color Zane desired and tonight once the paint was dry they put the ship together (actually are currently putting it together).







And what was Landon doing during all of the banging tonight you ask?

Preschooler

We signed Zane up for a 2-day a week preschool program while I am on maternity leave and today was his first day! I had to take Landon to his well-child visit, so Josh was the lucky guy to take him. Zane was SO EXCITED to go today and I couldn't wait to get home to hear all about it. Today he learned about the letter 'M' and the number '5'!

1st bath at home

Landon had his first bath at home today...he didn't love it that's for sure! I know he'll grow to like them just like his big brother! Zane had fun "helping" today!

Sorry the pictures are pretty bad, but I was taking them myself while holding him, not an easy task to do.







On another note the visiting nurse came out today and said that Landon looked MUCH better! She said he's still pretty yellow in the face, but would be surprised if his numbers were up...we are headed in the right direction!

2010 in Review

JANUARY
The man who has been the best father figure in my life moved to Arizona; I still haven't forgave him :)


FEBRUARY
Zane started taking a tumbling class.


Zane also started a "dress for the mess" class and we learned he is not a huge fan of getting messy.


MARCH
Home improvement projects began...first off, new flooring!


Zane moved from his crib to his toddler bed, it was a hard move on mommy!


APRIL
Zane completely potty trained in about 8 hours!


MAY
We informed Josh's family (while taking this picture) that we were expecting a baby!


Zane and mommy took a trip to Arizona to visit grandpa & grandma.


We bought a bigger car to accommodate our growing family.


JUNE
We rode "The Duck" on Father's Day!


We became the proud owners of kayaks!


JULY
Zane attended his first Vintage Car Races!


We rode Thomas the Train.


AUGUST
Josh and I celebrated our 8 year anniversary.


SEPTEMBER
We "did the Puyallup"!


One of my best friend's (Jen Kannberg) got married to the love of her life, Ryan!


OCTOBER
Zane turned 3!!


Zane started playing soccer and LOVED it!


NOVEMBER
Zane got his new big-boy room!!


DECEMBER
Zane was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and we spent 4 days at Children's Hospital.


We welcomed Landon Blake into our family!

Happy New Years 2011

Catching some rays...

Landon's billirubin was up a little again today when the nurse came out to check on him. Apparently its not up high enough yet to require light therapy, so he's just catching some rays by the window when he can. We have been instructed to up his feedings and try to make sure he gets at least 2-2.5 oz each time to try and flush this jaundice out of his system. The nurse will be back tomorrow to check again and we'll see where we are.
